As part of its commitment to sustainability and environmental stewardship, Yogya Group has partnered with Greenvolt Next to implement a groundbreaking renewable energy initiative. This collaboration has seen the installation of 921 photovoltaic panels across four of the company’s shopping centers. 

The solar power systems are designed to generate an impressive 825,320 kilowatt-hours (kWh) of clean energy annually. This renewable energy production represents a significant step towards reducing the company’s carbon footprint. By switching to solar energy, Yogya Group is estimated to cut CO2 emissions by approximately 719 tons each year—the equivalent of planting thousands of trees or taking hundreds of cars off the road. 

This initiative not only aligns with global efforts to combat climate change but also showcases Yogya Group’s leadership in integrating sustainable practices into the retail sector. By leveraging renewable energy, the company demonstrates its commitment to innovation and its role in shaping a greener, more sustainable future for Indonesia.
